Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Ciwind Solar (Pty) Ltd, all orders are shipped according to the customer’s instructions. Once goods leave our premises or warehouse, responsibility for the items transfers to the customer.
We offer free shipping within South Africa only. Orders are delivered using trusted third-party courier companies, and delivery typically takes 2–10 working days, depending on courier schedules and order volumes.
All orders are processed and dispatched only after payment has fully reflected in our First National Bank (FNB) account. For security reasons, we do not release orders based on proof of payment, as fraudulent payment confirmations are common in South Africa. This applies to both courier deliveries and self-collection orders.
Unless insurance is specifically requested by the customer, goods are shipped without insurance. An order is considered complete once it has been collected by the customer or handed over to the courier company.
Ciwind Solar cannot be held liable for loss or damage during transit, including theft, hijacking, fire, mishandling, negligence, acts of God, or any other events beyond our control (force majeure).
Additional packaging fees may apply for fragile items, including solar panels, where specialised protective packaging is required.
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and valid contact details and must be available to receive the goods within the delivery timeframe.
Customers may arrange their own courier if preferred, provided Ciwind Solar is notified in advance.
Any delivery note or waybill signed by the customer or a representative acting on their behalf will be accepted as proof of delivery.
